I’m a little medievalist. I grew up in San Francisco and live in Toronto. I miss Cal-Mex burritos, Hunan-style Chinese food, and the ocean. I read Latin and speak Welsh. When I was eight I tried to teach my cat Spanish. When I was eighteen I converted to Catholicism because I liked Mary and St. Teresa of Avila. My first love was agricultural and environmental history, and I’m always trying to tie that back to Medieval religious writing.

When I’m not studying medieval religious history, I cook, knit, sew, play with my cat, and pester my Annoyingly Perfect Fiance, a kilt-wearing, baking, fellow medieval historian.
